Ingredients:
- 2 1/4 teaspoons (1 packet) active dry yeast
- 1 1/2 cups warm water (110°F/45°C)
- 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- Favorite tomato sauce
- Shredded mozzarella cheese
- Favorite toppings (pepperoni, vegetables, etc.)
- Original Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
Instructions:
- In a small bowl, dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water. Let sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
- In a large bowl, combine flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture and olive oil.
- Knead the dough until smooth and elastic, about 8 minutes. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).
- Punch down the dough and divide in half if making two pizzas. Roll out on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
- Place the dough on a greased baking sheet or pizza stone.
- Spread favorite tomato sauce over the dough, leaving a border around the edges.
- Add mozzarella cheese and add your favorite toppings.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
- Add Original Crushed Red Pepper Flakes.
- Slice and enjoy!
